We Help Our Members Be Better Realtors

All members of the North San Diego County Association of Realtors hold themselves to impressively high standards of professional conduct.

Our commitment isn’t just a lofty idea. Our Professional Standards program helps our members be better REALTORS®, every day of the week.

In tandem with the Pacific Southwest Association of Realtors (PSAR), NSDCAR participates in a Professional Standards program that provides current, up-to-date information about the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics, to which all Realtor members are bound.

Our Professional Standards department settles disputes between Realtors and between Realtors and their clients. A consumer mediation program handles conflicts between buyers and sellers.

NSDCAR adheres to the policies and procedures outlined in the California Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual provided by the California Association of Realtors. The Manual is drafted to comply with the National Association of Realtors and California state law.

Arbitration & Mediation

Every NSDCAR mediator is a licensed real estate professional that understands all aspects of real estate disputes.

Ombudsman

Our ombudsmen are trained to help solve problems through communication and conciliation, avoiding the expense and hard feelings that can be caused by litigation.
