C.A.R. Directors

NSDCAR’s CAR directors ensure our association’s interests are heard at the state level.

One of the most important roles at NSDCAR is serving as a director to CAR. Our directors represent our interests at the state level and also report back to our membership about issues that may affect their businesses.

CAR directors are expected to attend state and regional meetings, as well as business meetings held in various locations within California. There is also an annual Legislative Day in Sacramento, where directors meet with their state representatives to discuss real estate and legislative issues.

Typically, CAR directors’ terms run from November to November, giving them ample time to engage with leaders throughout California. Directors are expected to participate in at least one committee, while our president is automatically added to the Associations Presidents Leadership Forum.

Many of our directors participate in several committees to ensure our members’ interests are adequately covered. If you’re interested in becoming a CAR director, please get in touch with any one of us to discuss the process.
