Welcome to the Professional Standards Excellence Series training program, taught by Carolyn D'Agosta!

REALTOR® members now have the option to fulfill Professional Standards requirements through this extensive online webinar series.

Carolyn D'Agosta is a leading expert in the field of Professional Standards education. She has served as the Chairman of Professional Standards for both the National Association of REALTORS® and the California Association of REALTORS®. Ms. D'Agosta has also served as Chairman of Interpretations and Procedures Sub-committee for Professional Standards for the National Association of REALTORS®. She is a master instructor of the State Faculty for the California Association of REALTORS® and has taught continuing education courses throughout the country, including GRI Designation courses.

The Professional Standards Excellence Series is offered nationwide to students needing to fulfill this important education requirement. Ms. D'Agosta is a leading industry professional who specializes in real estate Professional Standards and has taught over 600 Professional Standards and Risk Management courses throughout the country. She continues to serve as an expert witness in real estate litigation.

Grievance Committee Training
This course will teach the functions of a Grievance Committee member in the Professional Standards program. You will receive an overview of the full Professional Standards Program; learn the procedures in reviewing a complaint when submitted to an association, when a complainant withdraws their complaint, and the Citation Policy procedures (upon request). (Duration 1.5 hours)
REALTOR® registration fee: $35

Professional Standards Hearing Panel Training
This course will teach the functions of a Professional Standards member. You will receive an overview of the full Professional Standards Program; learn hearing panel preparation and etiquette, as well as the process for ethics hearings, procuring cause and arbitration hearings. (Duration 2.5 hours)
REALTOR® registration fee $45

Director's Role in Professional Standards Training
This course covers the overview of the full Professional Standards Program, Directors duties/role in reviews of the Grievance Committee decisions, ratifying disciplinary decisions when no request for review has been filed, and the review hearing process for disciplinary decisions and arbitration awards. (Duration 1.5 hours)
