Tours

NSDCAR Marketing Sessions and Tours are provided for the benefit of NSDCAR REALTORS®, Associated Professionals, and Affiliate members.

Non-members and guests who are potential Marketing Session sponsors are welcome to visit one time before joining the appropriate membership category as Affiliate or Associated Professional Member.

REALTORS® from other Associations are welcome to participate under the same rules and procedures as NSDCAR members. Out of state REALTORS® will need to provide proof of REALTOR® membership.

MLS-Only participants may showcase a property for a fee of $40 per property.

All Marketing Sessions and Tours are held on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, depending on zip code:


HOW TO PLACE A PROPERTY ON A MARKETING SESSION AND TOUR
IN THE NEW PARAGON SYSTEM:

Step 1:

  • Click on “LISTINGS”
  • Under the header “MAINTAIN” click on “LISTINGS” again
  • Enter your MLS PROPERTY ID
  • Click “GO”
  • Click on your MLS Number
  • Click on “TOUR”
  • Click on “ADD NEW”
  • Enter Tour Group (Example: 701)
  • Enter Date
  • Enter Time Start and Time End
  • Enter any Tour Comments
  • Enter Refreshments Y or N
  • Click “SAVE”


Step 2:

To include your listing(s) in the PowerPoint Presentation at a Marketing Session:

  • Email a copy of the Client Preferred 1 Report from PARAGON to the corresponding nsdcar.com Tour email address.
  • The email subject line must include: Tour Date, Property Address, and Agent Name. Please include your contact information in the body of the email message so that you may be notified of any changes.

Escondido Open House Tour 607

Local Rules:

  • Absolutely no alcoholic beverages may be offered.
  • Properties are allowed to be on tour only once every 6 weeks or a 2% price reduction.
  • Properties must be in "Active" status in MLS.
  • Please turn off cell phones/pagers as a fine will be collected for any disturbance during the Marketing Session.
  • It is the agent's sole responsibility to confirm tour dates by going into MLS clicking on "Tour Search", type in your Zip Code(s), type of property, start date/end date then "Search".
  • To Cancel a Tour follow steps 1-3 above and select "Delete". If your property is cancelled after publication, you must post a cancelled sign at the property and NOTIFY the Association Office. Signs are available for purchase at the Association Office. Failure to cancel prior to tour can result in a $40 fine for the first offense and then $100 for each subsequent offense in the same calendar year & suspension of Marketing Session & Tour privileges.

Vista Tour 601

Fridays:
There is no Vista Marketing Session/Tour on the 2nd Friday of the month however, there is a San Marcos car caravan and Marketing Session on the 2nd friday of the month.

There will be no Marketing Session/Tours on:
April 18, May 23, July 4, August 29, November 28, December 26, and January 2, 2015

  • RE-CARAVAN properties ALLOWED every 45 days with priority given to new listings (not previously caravanned).
  • There are a maximum of 8 properties on the car caravan each week.
  • Upon availability, agent may submit more than one property.

District 5, Tour 704 (Oceanside) agrees to allow District 6, Tour 601 (Vista) to include the Ocean Hills (92056) area in their marketing session and tour. The boundaries for this area would be limited to the 92056 zip code with Shadowridge Drive as the boundary to the West and Cannon Road as the boundary to the Northeast. Please see the Thomas Guide map page 1107.

  • POSTING CANCELLED PROPERTIES. If your property is cancelled after publication, you must post a cancelled sign at the property and NOTIFY the Association Office. Signs are available for purchase at the Association Office.
  • Escondido CC, Tour 607 agrees to allow San Marcos Tour 602 and Carmel Valley Tour 702 to
    include the 92029 (zip code) area in their marketing session and tour. The boundaries for
    this area would be limited to the 92029 ZIP code within the following boundaries.
    The EAST boundary changes name from Wilgen Dr., to Harmony Grove Road to the West
    boundary of the Elfin Forest Recreation Reserve.

    Carlsbad, Encinitas, Cardiff Open House Tour 701

    The Marketing Session is NOT Mandatory UNLESS you complete Step 2 to put your property on the Slide Show. IF your property is scheduled on the Slide Show you would need to be at the Marketing Session to pitch your property

    Local Rules:

    • ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE IS TO BE SERVED DURING TOUR.
    • Rental Properties may be included on the Tour Sheet and may be pitched as time allows.
    • Current MLS AGENT must be at each property that is scheduled on the tour during scheduled time slot. This includes land.
    • RE-TOUR properties ALLOWED after 6-weeks by the same agent or office or a 2% price change.
    • Property must be held open. No drive-by's.
    • POSTING CANCELLED PROPERTIES. If your property is cancelled after publication, you must post a cancelled sign at the property and NOTIFY the Association Office. Signs are available for purchase at the Association Office.
    • In the interest of time management, the emcee at his/her discretion may shorten or eliminate agenda

    Del Mar, Carmel Valley, Solana Beach, Rancho Santa Fe Open House Tour 702

    Escondido CC, Tour 607 agrees to allow San Marcos Tour 602 and Carmel Valley Tour 702 to
    include the 92029 (zip code) area in their marketing session and tour. The boundaries for
    this area would be limited to the 92029 ZIP code within the following boundaries.

    • ALCOHOL IN ANY FORM IS NOT PERMITTED ON TOUR.
    • POSTING CANCELLED PROPERTIES. If your property is cancelled after publication, you must post a cancelled sign at the property and NOTIFY the Association Office. Signs are available for purchase at the Association Office.
    • You may re-tour a property every 6 weeks or with a 2% price reduction.
    • Properties must be in "Active" status.
    • Cell Phones & pagers must be in "silent mode". A $5 fine will be collected for any disturbance during the Marketing Session.
    • All Open House participants MUST attend the marketing session or their property will be deleted from the tour.
    • Placing your property in the system as a Broker's Open House does not guarantee attendance by any agents or affiliates.
    • Being present is optional, but be sure the seller is aware agents will be using the lock box during this time on the specific date.

    Fallbrook/Bonsall Open House Tour 801N & 802S

    There will be no Marketing Session/Tours on:
    November 26, December 10, December 24, and December 31.

    Local Rules:

    • ABSOLUTELY NO LIQUOR IS TO BE SERVED DURING THE TOUR.
    • LICENSED AGENT must be present at every posted open house, including lots and groves.
    • HOMES UNDER CONSTRUCTION are not to be toured until a Certificate of Occupancy is obtained. The agent is expected to do everything within his/ power to protect the home and ensure the safety of all tour participants.
    • POSTING CANCELLED PROPERTIES: If your property showing is cancelled after publication, you must post a cancelled sign on the property and notify the Association office. Signs are available for purchase at the Association office.
    • RE-TOUR: Properties are only eligible to be routed on tour 90 days after the first showing.
    • PARKING: Please avoid blocking neighbors' driveways during a caravan. It is the hosting agent's responsibility to notify nearby residents if parking is going to be a problem.

    District 9, Tour 607 (Escondido) agrees to allow District 8, Tour 800 (Fallbrook/Bonsall) to include sections of 92026 in their marketing session and tour. The boundaries for this area would be limited to the 92026 zip code. See Thomas Guide map pages 1068 & 1049.

    District 6, Tour 601 (Vista) agrees to allow District 8, Tour 800 (Fallbrook/Bonsall) to include sections of 92084 in their marketing session and tour. The boundaries for this area would be limited to the 92084 zip code. See Thomas Guide map pages 1068 & 1088 (boundaries of D1 - H1 on page 1088).

    District 5, Tour 704 (Oceanside) agrees to allow District 8, Tour 800 (Fallbrook/Bonsall) to include the Sleeping Indian (92057) area in their marketing session and tour. The boundaries for this area would be limited to the 92057 zip code with Sleeping Indian Road as the boundary to the West and North River Road as the boundary to the South. See Thomas Guide page 1067.
