District 3 Encinitas has started a REALTOR®, Associated Professional and Affiliate Award of Excellence program each month! Recipient must be an active participant in District 3 Cardiff, Encinitas, Leucadia, Olivenhain, Solana Beach (92007, 92024, 92023, 92075) and a current member in good standing with the North San Diego County Association of
REALTORS. District 3 Award Recipients will be decided by the District 3 Coordinating Committee. Please click HERE for the Nomination Form. The deadline for submitting nominations for the June Award of Excellence is May 23rd.
Member Highlight - Meet your District 3 Chair, Portia Metras:
I have been in the Real Estate business since 1985, when I began my career with Tarbell Realtors. At that time, interest rates were 15-20% and so it was quite challenging!
I am married to a wonderful man and have two daughters, a stepdaughter, and a son-in-law, and have lived in San Diego since 1980.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Communications from
Cal State San Marcos and have pursued my master's degree in Sociological Practice. Currently, I live and own property here in the North
County area of San Diego and work full-time in helping people achieve their goals in Real Estate. I thoroughly enjoy my work and believe it is a privilege and also very interesting and fun in meeting many different people. I have been a buyer and seller many times myself and know the intricacies it
takes in handling one of the most important investments in peoples' lives.
She is just the Realtor to spearhead the role of District 3 Chair. Lets all try and support her this year! I am sure she would love some volunteers to help on the Can Tree Event
